Product Specification: LION® R30605 (Haynes 25 / L-605 Type)
LION® R30605 is a high-performance, solid-solution strengthened cobalt-base alloy. Known in the industry as Haynes 25 or L-605, it is the strongest of the fabricable cobalt alloys. It combines excellent high-temperature strength with superior resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and metal galling.
1. Key Technical Features
- High-Temp Strength: Maintains exceptional mechanical properties for long-term service up to 980°C (1800°F).
- Sulfidation Resistance: Superior resistance to sulfur-bearing atmospheres compared to standard nickel alloys.
- Excellent Galling Resistance: Proven performance in metal-on-metal wear applications, such as high-temperature bearings.
- Non-Magnetic: Remains non-magnetic even after severe cold working.
